Definitions
“Junior Walk Trot” This class is for all riders up to 17 years of age. Points will be awarded from 1st to
6th place If the horse breaks into a lope, the horse and rider are given a no time

“Senior Walk Trot” This class is for all riders from 18 years of age and older. Points will be awarded
for 1st to 6th place. If the horse breaks into a lope, the horse and rider are given a no time.

“Lead Line” Any rider whose parents feel is not ready for the youth class may participate in this class.
Points will be awarded for 1st to 6th place.

“Youth” All rider in this class must wear a helmet. This class is open to all riders who graduate from
lead line to 13 years of age. Points will be awarded for 1st to 6th place.

“Junior” All riders from 14 to 17 will compete in this class. All 14 year old riders must wear a helmet.
Points will be awarded for 1st to 6th place.

“Senior” All riders 18 to 55 years will compete in this class. Points will be awarded for 1st to 6th place.
“Jack Benny” All riders from 56 years and up will compete in this class. Points will be awarded for 1st
to 6th place.

“Multiple Horses One Rider” This is permitted however, each horse and rider must have it’s own
entry form. Each horse earns point separately and points can not be combined.

Day shows Sign up at 9:00 start 10;00 sharp
Night shows Sign up 4:00 start 5:00 sharp

Note - This year there will be a Sportsmanship/Horsemanship award

Ride at your own risk. WayOnt Saddle club is not responsible for injuries to riders, horses or spectators.

1) Helmets are mandatory for all riders 14 years of age and younger, no exceptions!
2) Dress Code is mandatory - Button down collard shirt, full length jeans or riding pants and regulation cowboy / riding boots.
    *** NOTE - Riding boot must have a heel for rider safety.
3) Horses must be under control at all times or risk disqualification.
4) No running of horse in the driveway, back paddock area/field or the in/out of the gate.
5) No horses permitted on the arena side of the ditch.
6) Be aware of the electric timer. If You run over and break them you will be responsible to replace it
    (Current cost $600.00 Plus)
7) Be ready when your name is called or you could forfeit your turn in the class.   If you go off course in any game it will result in a no time. 
8) Knock down of an obstacle will result in a 5 second penalty per obstacle and will be added to your time. 
9) No striking of a horse in front of the saddle is permitted.   Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated either in the arena or anywhere within club grounds.
10) Anyone abusing a horse will be disqualified.
11) Refunds subject to review by the show committee.
12) The show committee decisions are final.
