TRAIL RIDES      The pleasures of trail riding seem to be becoming more appreciated as many of our "boomers" are getting a little stiffer and welcome the slower gaits of a leisurely ride through the countryside.      Way-Ont has always hosted trail rides and at one time, it was not unusual for 20 or 30 people to come out. We try to arrange for several rides a year which can take place just about anywhere, from Mendon Ponds to Sugar Hill.      Again, it is open to all ages, although a parent is expected to ride along with young children who attend. Sometimes the weather does not cooperate, but everyone seems to have a good time nonetheless.      We will be planning rides for this coming year, so if you are not one for the fast lane, consider joining us for a slower-paced day with your human and equine friends.
